Blurred appointed by the Royal Academy of Engineering to support 50th anniversary campaign

December 17, 2025

Following a competitive pitch, we’re proud to announce we’ve been appointed by the Royal Academy of Engineering to support the organisation’s 50th anniversary campaign.

We’re working alongside the Academy’s communications team to shape the overarching narrative and messaging and creatively amplify key moments throughout the anniversary period, which runs from April 2026 to June 2027.

The campaign will celebrate the Academy’s achievements and influence over the past five decades, while looking firmly ahead to the next 50 years, exploring how engineering will continue to drive innovation, tackle global challenges and inspire the next generation.

Our co-founder Stuart Lambert said: “Engineering touches almost every part of our daily lives, often without us even realising it. The Royal Academy of Engineering is an extraordinary institution, bringing together some of the brightest minds and most impactful innovations shaping our world. To help tell that story at such a significant moment in the Academy’s history is a real privilege for us.”

Jane Sutton, Head of Media and Engagement at the Royal Academy of Engineering, said: “Our 50th anniversary is an opportunity to celebrate the Academy’s legacy and its role in advancing engineering across the UK and beyond, while also inspiring the next generation of innovators. We were impressed by Blurred’s ability to combine strategic clarity with creative thinking and we look forward to working with them as we bring this milestone year to life.”
